Popular pedal-powered attraction will take part in March 18 parade, with all invited to after-party to start at 4 pm at Springfield Brewing Company, The Trolley Bike reports

SPRINGFIELD, Mo - March 10, 2017 /MarketersMedia/ —
One of the area's top attractions will be making a special appearance in Springfield's St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday, March 18. Just under a year ago, The Trolley Bike made its maiden voyage, offering up to 14 partying passengers a pedal-powered tour of downtown. With its first birthday almost here, the Trolley Bike will take part in the upcoming St. Patrick's Day parade. All are also invited to an after-party to be held at the Springfield Brewing Company at 301-305 South Market from 4 to 5:30 pm. Guests will be able to view the Trolley Bike up close, head out on free mini-tours, enjoy complimentary refreshments, enter to win prizes, and even receive discounts on bookings for future tours.
As a relatively new addition to the city that already ranks high on many lists of fun places to go near Springfield MO, the Trolley Bike has received a warm, enthusiastic reception. With the Trolley Bike's second season ready to start, the upcoming St. Patrick's Day parade appearance and Springfield Brewing Company after-party celebration are sure to interest many.
"It's been a truly terrific first year, and we think our second season is going to be even more fun and successful," said Trolley Bike co-owner Brian Ash, "When we first dreamed up this idea a couple of years back, we knew the Trolley Bike was going to be a great fit for Springfield. While it took plenty of work to get here, operating the Trolley Bike has been incredibly rewarding, and people throughout the area could not be more supportive. We're happy to report that we'll be kicking off our second season of operation by participating in the St. Patrick's Day parade downtown on March 18. We'll also be hosting an after-party at the Springfield Brewing Company starting at 4 pm, with plenty of free food, prizes, discounts, and complimentary tours on the Trolley Bike."
The Trolley Bike came into being when co-owners Cortney Little-Ash and Brian Ash sought a distinctive new way of adding to Springfield's revitalizing downtown area. Taking inspiration from group bike tours held in other cities in the United States, they had the Trolley Bike built to custom specifications by a firm in Oregon. Seating as many as 14 passengers, with up to 10 pedaling at a time, The Trolley Bike has proved to be an extremely popular addition to the downtown area. With a special exception to the city's open-container laws in place, passengers can enjoy BYOB beverages and other refreshments while a professional, licensed chauffeur guides the Trolley Bike on tours averaging two hours in length.
The upcoming St. Patrick's Day parade appearance and after-party will help celebrate the start of the Trolley Bike's second season. The parade is scheduled to begin at Benton Avenue and Commercial Street at 2 pm on March 18 and to finish at 4 pm at the intersection of South Avenue and Elm Street. A public after-party at the Springfield Brewing Company at 301-305 South Market Avenue will run from 4 pm to 5:30 pm, with free refreshments, Trolley Bike mini-tours, and discounts on future tours available.
