R M Olson Guitar is pleased to announce that they have added a semi hollow body guitar kit option to their inventory of kits and finished models. They sell all types of guitar kits and can even make a prototype guitar or kit. The website includes pictures of many previous guitar kits builds from which prospective customers can choose. Inquiries by email will receive images of both raw wood kits and finished models completed by previous customers.
A company representative for R M Olson Guitar explained, “If you are looking for a guitar kit, we can help you get anything from a custom kit to something we have in stock. There are a few of the new semi hollow body 335 style kits, LP semi hollows, Starcaster semi hollows, Bass 335s and Ollandocs. Our Ollandoc guitar is sometimes confused with the Trey style Phish Languedoc Guitar.”
Images of many of the options in kits and finished guitars can be seen on the up-to-date website. There are standard semi hollow double and single cutaways in flame, quilted and even the extreme flamed maple. The kits come with a free medium grade hardware kit, or customers can upgrade to fit their preferences and specifications. Additional portfolio images include the light amber KOA and dark amber KOA models.
The quality of the kits is what attracts many musicians to the challenge of building their instruments. There is a broad range of woods and finishes which can be selected, depending on the look and sound desired by the owner. The company guarantees 100 percent satisfaction with the quality of the product. For those who are not ready to take advantage of the kits, the company can produce a finished, customized guitar. The customers have the option of finishes and styles of their preference.
