She then went on to attend the Advanced Standing Program at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree with honors in 2021.
During her dental education at Boston University, Dr. Mara received the "Excellence in Implantology" award in recognition of her high achievement in planning, placing, and restoring dental implants. After graduation, she moved to South Florida, where she now practices.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
In her free time, Dr. Mara enjoys traveling, going to the beach, reading books, and cooking, which she loves.
