Dr. Cooper graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the NY College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then went on to complete a rotating internship, and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center from 1996 until 2000.
Subsequent to her training, she attained board certification in obstetrics and gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. ABOG is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors who specialize in the care of the female reproductive tract and women during the course of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period (obstetricians) and specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the female reproductive tract (gynecologists).
In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), Dr. Cooper is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the Indiana State Medical Association.
Exhibiting an excellent standard of care, Dr. Cooper has been recognized by her peers as a Top Doctor in Indianapolis Monthly magazine in 2018. She has also been the recipient of a Patients' Choice Award (2017, 2014, 2013), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2014), and an On-Time Doctor Award (2014).
